The Virginia Corvette Club is holding an all Corvette Show on Saturday October 1, 2011 as a fund raiser for local charities. The Charities are" Lynchburg Daily Bread, Campbell County Animal shelter, and DAWN (Donations A Week Neighbors).
Events planned are a Corvette display (last year, over 175 Corvettes attend and was the LARGEST Corvette Show in the Commonwealth of Virginia); DJ and shag and line dancing; pontoon boat rides on Smith Mountain Lake, and a wine garden. You must be 21 years of age to enter the wine garden and show proof of age with a valid government issued photo ID.
Admission is $5 per person 12 years old and up or, 5 cans of food, or 5 pounds of food. All human food will be equally split and donated to our charities, and all animal food will be donated to the humane society. Each entrant donating food will receive a ticket for each entry level met for a cash drawing for $200. You do not need to be present to win this award.
Come on out and enjoy a beautiful setting on Smith Mountain Lake as well as some gorgeous cars, and lots of entertainment. Food vendors will also be on site.
