My husband and myself recently had the opportunity of dining at Ruby Tuesdays and were so disappointed. It took several minutes for us to be seated upon arrival, even though the restaurant was half empty. The waitress even took longer to notice us once we were seated. That did give me time to look around and notice how dirty the place was, however. Our biggest mistake is that we didn't get up and leave! The salad bar is $9.00 with hardly any food on it, which is what I went for. It was filthy and I had to request for containers to be refilled. My husband ordered a chicken salad, which arrived with cucumbers that were clear, tomatoes that should have been thrown out 5 days prior, and lettuce that was brown and slimy throughout. That plate full of pleasant surprises was $9.00 too! The waitress was less than interested in waiting on us and once it came time to pay, rang someone else's ticket up on our card! Our original dinner was just shy of $20 (and was the worse meal I've EVER had, mind you) and had suddenly jumped to almost $43! I had to flag down the waitress and let her know that there was a mistake, which she promptly left someone else's dirty dishes she was carrying in front of me (GROSS!!!) and went to see what she could do to fix the issue. Five minutes later she was back at our table reassuring me that the issue had been fixed, the fees had been reversed, and had the correct ticket for me to sign. I signed and happily left the place. I came home and checked my bank account, which had now been charged for both tickets! Our nasty meal had cost me almost $63!!! I called to talk to the manager the next day and he notified me that there was nothing he could do (he wasn't really even interested in listening to what I had to say) and that I would just have to wait until the money was put back onto my card. I am 4 days into the ordeal and still waiting for the $43 to be released. The whole experience, from walking in the door, to checking out, was terrible! I don't recommend that anyone visit this restaurant. There are too many good restaurants in Danville to waste your money here!
