"Battle of the Ironclads" Civil War Conversation

"Civil War Conversations" are a free monthly series of lunchtime talks held upstairs at Baine’s Books & Coffee. The first time that two ironclad warships met in battle was when the U.S.S. Monitor and the C.S.S. Virginia clashed at the Battle of Hampton Roads in March of 1862.
