"Civil War Conversations" are a free monthly series of lunchtime talks held upstairs at Baine’s Books & Coffee. The first time that two ironclad warships met in battle was when the U.S.S. Monitor and the C.S.S. Virginia clashed at the Battle of Hampton Roads in March of 1862. Join Sam Craghead, Public Relations Specialist from the Museum of the Confederacy on March 14, 2012 for a talk on the Battle of the Ironclads. This free talk will last from 12:15 pm to 12:45 pm.
